  • Conduct literature searches and integrate the literature and Standards /Guidelines into case analysis
  • Research and analyze the validity and reliability of research studies
  • Identify and review Medical Records, Policy and Procedure, essential documents
  • Expand attorney medical library
  • Interview clients and key witnesses
  • Consult with Healthcare Providers
  • Identify types of Testifying Experts (TEs) needed
  • Locate and interface with Expert Witnesses
  • Communicate with Testifying Expert
  • Analyze and compare expert witness reports and other work products
  • Serve as liaison between Attorney, Healthcare Providers, TEs, other parties, and witnesses
  • Educator to all parties
  • Prepare Interrogatories
  • Review and draft responses to various legal documents and correspond for Attorneys
  • Assist in exhibit preparation
  • Prepare deposition and trial cross or direct questions
  • Review, analyze, summarize depositions, including past testimony
  • Attend depositions, trials, review panels, arbitration and mediation hearings
  • Help prepare witnesses and experts for deposition and trial
  • Develop written reports for use as a study tool for attorney
  • Coordinate and attend Independent Medical Exams (IMEs)
  • Develop Life Care Plans
  • Coordinate and assist in facilitating focus groups and mock trials
